Mamas for Mamas removes barriers to poverty relief through digital sharing economies and charitable support from their head office hub. As a tech-charity, they create a safe digital space where Mother’s can reach out for help to fill the gaps in economic disparity, emotional poverty, and community isolation.
This year in the spirit of giving, Holland Imports has donated some Christmas Décor to Mamas For Mamas, with hopes to spread joy and Christmas Cheer at their Vancouver Hub.
We envision a future where no mama or child is left behind.
Mamas is a nationwide community of Mother’s donating, sharing, supporting and connecting with one another to improve quality of life and create a local and national connection. They are addressing the maternal mental illness epidemic by building a sense of community among other caregivers while offering a physical space in which to meet and access at-risk comprehensive support . They provide a space where our Mamas and their kids feel safe and comfortable when individuals come in for poverty relief support.
Giving back to the community is a vital element of the Holland Imports philosophy. We believe getting involved is essential for the sustainable success and growth of our communities. It’s hard enough being a parent without the stress of clothing or food insecurity, lack of appropriate mental health care, and everything else that can easily fall through the cracks in our busy society. Mamas for Mamas is there for those parents who need help navigating eligible resources or applying for social support .
